The Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted by Michelangelo between 1508 and 1512, is a cornerstone work of High Renaissance art. The Central to the ceiling decoration are nine scenes from the Book of Genesis of which The Creation of Adam is the best known, having an iconic standing equalled only by Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, the hands of God and Adam being reproduced in countless imitations.
This project was design to harmonized the color motif and draperies, renaissance arch mural painting was made to fit the interior decoration and hand painted directly on the walls.
My rendition for this painting "The Creation of Adam" is the accuracy of reproduction enlarging photo references portraying the alikeness of the piece respecting delicate details of anatomy, figures and color matching. The added designs are referred from the mural decoration of Graham Rust, the dome effect is painted as trompe l'oeil.
The influence of renaissance murals as interior design are classic for interior decorations. The elegance style is a fashion and historic for humanities.
